21.Thread tension releaser 830 850
Check
1. Set the tension index dial to 9
2. Set the presser foot to its highest position, use the function button presserfoot up.
3. The tension releaser (C) should now have opened the discs, and the tension pin (A) should be against the
releaser lever (B) and no play between them.
4. Lower the presserfoot, use the function button presserfoot down, the discs should be closed and the ten-
sion pin (A) should be loose, with a just a small play between the realeser and the pin.
Adjustment
thread tension discs. The Covers must be removed before this adjustment can be done.
1. Set the tension index dial to 9
2. Lower the presserfoot, use the function button presserfoot down.
3. Turn the pin (A), use a Torx 10 screw driver, until it just a small play, between pin and lever.
4. Set the presser foot to its highest position, use the function button presserfoot up.
