Removing the System Board
1. Follow the procedures in

2. Remove the battery.
3. Remove the
base
cover.
4. Remove the
hard
drive.
5. Remove the
optical
drive.
6. Remove the
wireless local area network (WLAN)
7. Remove the
wireless wide area network (WWAN)
8. Remove the memory.
9. Remove the keyboard.
10. Remove the
palm
rest.
11. Remove the
display
assembly.
12. Remove the
ExpressCard
cage.
13. Slide the coin-cell battery from its socket on the computer.
14. Remove the screws that secure the system board to the computer.
