Each of these jigs are designed to be fixed to the grinder (not included) using
a standard bracket unit. The bracket shown is included with Harbor Freight
Tools 8" Wet Grinder #95236 and is
used for reference. This bracket and
grinder are not included with these jigs.
Any similar bracket may be used. A
wet, low speed grinder like HFT item
#95236 is recommended for best
results. Please see item 3 on page 6 of
this manual for details.
Standard Bracket Unit:
1.
Assemble the two Bracket Supports to
the Bracket Crosspiece using the two
bolts supplied. Tighten securely.
3.
Tighten the chisel in place using the Upper
Locking Knob, and the Side Locking Knob.
4.
Place the Support Unit on the Standard
Bracket Unit as shown in photo at above right.
5.
Check the position of the chisel on the grinding
wheel before beginning grinding.
6.
When the chisel is positioned properly, turn on
the grinding wheel (not included)
7.
Slowly rotate the chisel cutting edge on the grinding
wheel until the desired edge has been created.
8.
Remove the assembly from the grinding wheel, and turn the grinding wheel off.
Remove the chisel from the Support Unit.

Assembly and Operation

Attach the mounting Brackets to the wet
grinder as shown in the photo above.
If not using #95236 8" Wet Grinder, outfit your
grinder with a similar bracket set up.
Item # 95329 Device for Rough Turning and
Hollow Cutting Tools:
1.
Insert the chisel or other tool (not included) into
the Support Unit as shown in picture above right.
2.
Rotate the tool Bed into the desired position.
Tighten the Screw to fix the Tool Bed into place.
