Sharpness adjustment

This adjustment is applied when images need to be softer or sharper.

The adjustment is available for each original mode.

The procedure is the same as that of

Adjustment of smudged text (1200 dpi)

The smudged text can be improved in the following codes.

The larger the value is, the lighter the small text and fine lines become and the more smudged

text is suppressed.

0: Smudged text is suppressed most

9: Faint text is suppressed most

Acceptable values: 0 to 9

The procedure is the same as that of

Thin line width lower limit adjustment

Sets the lower limit value of the thin line width when "Distinguish Thin Lines" is selected in the

screen selecting menu of the printer driver.

The larger the value is, the thicker (darker) the thin line becomes.

Acceptable values: 1 to 9

(Default: 2(600dpi), 4(1200dpi))

The procedure is the same as that of

Color/black judgment setting for twin color printing images

Sets whether or not to replace the image object with black at the time of twin color printing.

1: ON (replacing with black)

The procedure is the same as that of

e-STUDIO5520C/6520C/6530C

P.3-52 "3.3.4 Adjustment of faint text".

The larger the value is, the

sharper the image becomes. The

smaller the value is, the softer

the image becomes.

Acceptable values: 0 to 255

(Default: 128)
