This document explains how to install the Cisco ONS 15310-MA rear cover. It also contains a
description of the rear cover, installation equipment and procedures, and a list of specifications. As

cover.
This document contains the following sections:
Rear Cover Description
The plastic rear cover allows you to protect the DS-1 connections and all the other connectors installed
on the back plane of the ONS 15310-MA chassis.
Note
You must install the rear cover only after connecting all the cables on the back plane.
Depending on the field requirements, the rear cover can be installed with two different offsets from the
