Fully charge
the rechargeable
battery
before using it for the first time.
1.
Silde the battery
compartment
lid,
then swing the battery compartment
open.

Insert
the
rechargeable
nickel-
cadmium battery (SANYO NBP-50A).
Be sure to obsetve the proper polarity
(the + and - signs, as indicated inside
the battery compartment).
3.
Close the lid.
4.
Plug one and of the AC adaptor into
the EXT DC 6V socket, then plug the
other and into an AC outlet.
The
battery
is fully
charged
approximately
10 hours after the
AC adaptor is connected.
5.
When
charging
is completed,
disconnect the AC adaptor.
Cautions on the AC Adaptor
Use this unit only with the supplied
AC adaptor.
Use with
other
AC
adaptors could damage the unit.
If the AC adaptor is connected,
the
batteries
are
automatically
disconnected.
Notes on the rechargeable
battery

terminal
clean.
