Introduction Scope The purpose of this document is to provide specification following environmental regulations. 3958-DD6 DOES NOT HAVE FRU SERVICE FOR BATTERY, CUSTOMER OR ENGINEERING SERVICE SHOULD REQUEST CANISTER FRU AND REPLACE PART FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS PROVIDED IN INSTALLATION MANUAL GA32-0921-13 / 2726100 For details in disposition handing refers to document PRODUCT SAFETY DATA SHEET in ECO M13676.

Remove the system battery: a) Turn off the canister and remove it from chassis. b) Carefully remove top cover from canister c) Remove screws from remaining top cover in rear side of canister, as shown in following picture...

d) Locate the battery closer to rear side of canister e) Remove the system battery If there is rubber cover on the battery holder, use your fingers to lift the battery cover from the battery connector Use one finger to tilt the battery horizontally out of its socket, pushing it away from the socket.
