3�2�7 To adjust the valve clearance
1. Locate the valves.
2. Do a check of the valve clearence (1) using a feeler
gauge.

Loosen the adjusting screw locknut (3). Turn the
valve adjustment screw (2) to adjust the valve
clearence (1). Adjust so there is a sligt "drag" on the
feeler gauge when sliding it between the rocker arm
and the valve cap.
4. Hold the adjusting screw (2) while tightening the
valve adjusting screw locknut (3).
5. Do a check of the clearens again.

3�2�8 To do a check of and clean the carbon
dust
1. Do a check that no air is leaking.
2. Clean the carbon dust from the valve and nozzle.
3. Remove the carbon dust from the combustion
chamber.
