    Components of system Notification The components of the system Lift8 cannot be used outside this system. Announcers cannot be connected to a telephone line without a central unit! When the system is connected into several shafts, it is not possible to connect the announcers without a central unit and splitters.

    The splitters are connected in series, i.e.., one after the other. It is not possible to connect them in parallel. The system Lift8 would be unstable. On the last splitter (furthest from the central unit) the termination resistance (jumper) is connected.

    Upon the application start, you get to the Configuration / Parameters / Basic menu ® including almost all of the Lift8 Central Unit settings. Now you are in the offline configuration mode: modify, prepare for upload and then save the settings into a file to be uploaded to the CU.
