Overview What you can do with your Network Walkman First, you need to install the “SonicStage” software into your computer. You can easily transfer digital audio files from your computer to the built-in flash memory and carry it anywhere to enjoy.
• The recorded music is limited to private use only. Use of the music beyond this limit requires permission of the copyright holders. • Sony is not responsible for incomplete recording/downloading or damaged data due to problems of the Network Walkman or computer.

Repeat mode Playing specified sentences repeatedly (Sentence Repeat) This function automatically detects voice data between blank spaces (silent spaces) and repeats the voice data for a set number of counts. MP3, which stands for MPEG-1 Audio Layer-3, is a format standard for music file compression. It was codified by the Motion Picture Experts Group, a working group of ISO (International Organization for Standardization). It compresses audio CD data to approximately one tenth its original size. Because the MP3 encoding algorithm has been made publicly available, there are various encoders and decoders that are compliant with this standard.
Menu list Press the SEARCH/MENU button for half a second to display the menu mode and use the Shuttle switch (rotate to select) and the Nx button (to confirm) to change the settings of your Network Walkman.
