    ATTACHING / REMOVING THE BASE Note: Remove the monitor and monitor base from its packaging. Carefully place the monitor face-down on a stable surface -- use a cloth to avoid scratching the screen. Attach the stand arm and the base Ensure that the base is screwed tight to the monitor, as illustrated.

    USER CONTROLS Base Controls Item Description Turns the monitor on/off. Blue indicates power on. Power button/indicator Amber indicates standby/power saving mode. Hotkey 1, 2 buttons Press to activate user defined hotkey function. Input button Press to toggle input sources. Press to activate the OSD menu, then use it as Navi/OK button directional key to highlight the desired function.

Note: This product qualifies for ENERGY STAR in the “factory default” setting and this is the setting in which power savings will be achieved. Changing the factory default picture settings or enabling other features will increase power consumption that could exceed the limits necessary to qualify for ENERGY STAR rating.
