Installing the Weights
Parts needed for this procedure:

Weight assembly
2
Bolt (3/8 x 6-1/2 inches)
2
Bracket assembly
2
Caster weight—20.4 kg (45 lb)

Caster weight—9.1 kg (20 lb)

Clevis pin
2
Hairpin cotter
4
Locknut (3/8 inch)
2
Washer
2
Bolt (3/8 x 8 inches)
Procedure
1.
Insert the bolt (3/8 x 6-1/2 inches) into hole on
the bottom side of the bracket and the rear of
the removable 20.4 kg (45 lb) caster weight
(Figure
4).
Carefully place the weight and bracket assembly
onto the caster arm centering the hole of the
weight over the caster wheel.

Secure the bottom of the bracket to the caster
arm using a clevis pin and hairpin cotter

3.
Tighten the knob on the weight assembly until it
is clamped securely to the caster arm

Install 3 caster weights (9.1 kg (20 lb) over the
weight assembly bolt and stack them securely
onto the 20.4 kg (45 lb) caster weight
5.
Secure the rear of the weight assembly with a
locknut (3/8 inch) as shown in

Install the bolt (3/8 x 8 inches) and washer
through the top of the front holes of the weight
assembly and secure it using a locknut (3/8
inch) as shown in
7.
Repeat this procedure on the other side of the
machine.
