Chapter 1: Introduction The Hitachi Virtual Storage Platform E990 (VSP E990) storage system is a high-performance, large-capacity data storage system utilizing all-flash NVMe solid-state drives. The Hitachi Virtual Storage Platform E990 (VSP E990) runs on single-phase AC power. The AC power input for the VSP E990 storage system has a duplex PDU architecture that enables the equipment installed in the rack to remain powered on if power is removed from one of the two power distribution panels.
