Quick Start To connect the LCD monitor to your system, follow these instructions: NOTE: Make sure to read “Recommended Use” (page 4) before installation. In order to display the maximum resolution, a display controller that can output a resolution of 1536 x 2048 (in portrait mode) or 2048 x 1536 (in landscape mode) is needed.

4. Connect all cables to the appropriate connectors (Figure C.1). When using the USB cable, connect the B type connector to the USB upstream port on the right back side of the monitor and the A type connector to the downstream port on the computer (Figure C.1a).

Screen Rotation Before rotating, the screen must be raised to the highest level and tilt to avoid knocking the screen on the desk or pinching your fi ngers. Disconnect all cables. To raise the screen, place hands on each side of the monitor and lift up to the highest position (Figure RL.1). To rotate the screen, place hands on each side of the monitor and turn clockwise from Landscape to Portrait or counter- clockwise from Portrait to Landscape (Figure R.1).
Flexible Arm Installation This LCD monitor is designed for use with a fl exible arm. To prepare the monitor for alternate mounting purposes: • Follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer of the monitor mount. • To meet the safety requirements, the monitor must be mounted to an arm that supports the weight of the monitor. See page 21 for details.
Controls OSD (On-Screen Display) control buttons on the front of the monitor function as follows: To access the OSD menu, press the EXIT button. To change the signal input, press the SELECT button. All buttons are located at the back of the monitor. The Key Guide appears pressing any button when not in the OSD control menu.

VIDEO DETECT Selects the video detection method, when more than one video signal source is connected. FIRST: When current video input signal is not present, then the monitor searches for a video signal from a different video source. FACTORY PRESET Selecting Factory Preset allows you to reset all OSD control settings (LUMINANCE, IMAGE CONTROL, PICTURE MODE, SHARPNESS, OFF MODE, OSD LEFT/RIGHT, OSD UP/DOWN, OSD TURN OFF) back to the factory settings. Individual settings can be reset by highlighting the control to be reset and pressing the RESET button. Features DisplayPort: DisplayPort is designed to be the future-ready, scalable solution for high performance digital display connectivity. STAND-ALONE CALIBRATION Stand alone calibration can recalibrate the display without using a computer by the front sensor or connecting an external sensor. There are 5 functions in STAND-ALONE CALIBRATION. • Self Calibration: Calibrates the front sensor based on the USB optical sensor. Alternatively, manually adjust the integrated front sensor with an external near range luminance sensor reference, which is traceable to a primary standards laboratory.
