Press the POWER key to ON.

3 Play the source component.
• The selected source component is played automatically if it
is connected using a system control cord.
4 Adjust the volume.
Set the INPUT SELECTOR to select the source
to be played.

play in the cycle as shown above.
• Do not set the INPUT SELECTOR knob in the mid position
between click positions.

Function of the LOUDNESS key

While dynamic sound can be experienced at high volume levels,
music may become flat with poor bass when the volume is set
low.
To compensate for this, p ess the LOUDNESS key when the VOL-
UME CONTROL is set to a low level. The bass will be boosted
making the sound richer ar d fuller.

other than cassette deck 2, be sure to set the TAPE 2 key to OFF.
2. The source selected with the INPUT SELECTOR is backed up for a few days even when the power cord is unplugged. After this period
tuner is automatically selected when the power is supplied.
