    Getting started About this User guide This is the Xperia XZs User guide for the Android™ 8.0 software version. If you're not sure which software version your device is running, you can check it in the Settings menu. System and application updates can present the features in your device in another way than described in this User guide.

    To insert a nano SIM card and a memory card Do not cut your SIM card, as this may damage your device. Drag out the SIM card tray. Place the SIM card securely in the SIM card tray, as shown in the illustration. Place the memory card securely in the tray, in the correct orientation as shown in the illustration.

Screen lock Set a secure screen lock on your device using a PIN, password, pattern or fingerprint to prevent others from using your device without permission.

    Notification light The notification light informs you about battery status and some other events. For example, a flashing white light means there is a new message or a missed call.
