Setting Up Your Inspiron Desktop Extend the Rear Stabilizing Feet With the computer sitting in an upright position, carefully lift the rear of the computer, and rotate the stabilizing feet outwards. The extended feet ensure maximum system stability.

Beep Codes Your computer might emit a series of beeps during start‑up if there are errors or problems. This series of beeps, called a beep code, identifies a problem.
Network Problems Wireless Connections If the network connection is lost — The wireless router is offline or wireless has been disabled on the computer. • Check your wireless router to ensure it is powered on and connected to your data source (cable modem or network hub).
