Grouping for digital wireless system with analog wireless system
Guidance on the use of a multi-channel system using digital wireless system with analog wireless system
When building up the system with digital and analog wireless devices, use the conventional analog wireless channel groups. Set the
intervals between a digital channel and an analog channel to 375 kHz or more.
When building up a multi-channel system, Sony recommends that one of the following groups is selected to avoid mutual interference
from other Sony wireless microphones/transmitters:
– Groups 01 to 04 are for using 8 channels of transmitting frequencies in one TV channel.
– Groups 05 to 08 are for using 11 channels of transmitting frequencies in two TV channels.
– Group 09 is for using 16 channels of transmitting frequencies in four TV channels.
Notes
• On shaded channels in the tables below, digital wireless microphones cannot be used. The indication of these channels does not appear
in the display of the device.
• The reliability of this channel plan is assured when the RF power output of the transmitter/microphone is 1 mW or 10 mW and distances
of transmitters/microphones are 1 m (3.3 feet) or more.
• When the distances between transmitters and microphones need to be closer than the distances above, use a grouping system for multi-
channel systems that include both digital wireless and analog wireless devices.
• Channels marked with asterisks (*) cannot be used with the wireless remote control function. When using the wireless remote control
function, use channels that are not marked with asterisks.
