    Safety Precautions Safety Precautions Do not dry unwashed items in the machine The machine is not to be used if industrial chemicals have been used for cleaning. Do not allow minors to use the machine. Do not hose down the machine with water. The machine's door lock must under no circumstances be bypassed.

    General Drying Functions START EXTRA DRY Turn the control knob to the START row. Press HIGH TEMP START the knob to start the selected program. CHANGE TEMPERATURE STOP Press the control knob to stop the program. Restart the drying program by pressing the control knob again.

    Error codes Error codes A fault in the program or in the machine is indica- ted by an error message comprising an error code and a descriptive text. INCORRECT The drying program and the error code can PROGRAMMING be reset before restarting by holding in the knob for at least 10 seconds or turning off the power to the machine.

    Machines with RMC Wipe off/clean drum and lifters with citric acid (Acidum citricum). If soap/softener residue re- mains, it is recommended also to use a coarse sponge. Lack of cleaning the lifters can reduce the au- tomatic residual moisture control in the clothes resulting in the clothes being moister than re- quested when the program has ended. Monthly, T4130 (on condensate machines) At least once a month the condenser must be cleaned of lint by rinsing it with water until the lamellae are clean. Soak in hot water if required. Quarterly/Semi-annually, T4130 • Check that the fresh-air intake at the rear of the machine is not clogged by lint or blocked in any other way. • Check that the evacuation system is tight and that the ducts are not clogged by lint or dust or blocked in any other way.
  • Page 16 Maintenance Daily, T4190 • Check that the drum stops when the door is opened. • Check that the machine will not start until the start button has been acti- vated. Annually, T4190 At least once a year the inside wearing parts of the machine should be checked by a competent, skilled person and cleaned of lint.
