Cisco ASR 9000 Series Aggregation Services Router Broadband Network Gateway Configuration Guide, Release
Creating Dynamic Template for IPv4 or IPv6 Subscriber Session
Purpose
Enters the dynamic-template configuration mode.
Creates a dynamic-template with an user-defined
name for IP subscriber.
IPv4 or IPv6 or Dual-stack Subscribers support
idle timeout feature.
• The idle timeout is supported only
Note
for ipsubscriber and service type
templates.
• In Release 4.2.3, if the idle timeout
is configured, it is expected that the
IPoE sessions terminate when the
timer configured under
dynamic-template or the timer
passing down from the RADIUS
server expires. Whereas in Release
4.2.1, the IPoE and PPPoE sessions
are retained idle when the idle
timeout period expires.
Configures the subscriber accounting feature.
Sets IPv4 or IPv6 maximum transmission unit
(MTU). The range is from 68 to 65535 bytes. The
MTU value defines the largest packet size that
can be transmitted during the subscriber session.
