Ports and operating elements The meanings of the symbols are as follows: Power indicator (ON/OFF switch) • Indicator continuously lit: the notebook is switched on. • Indicator flashes: the notebook is in suspend mode • The indicator is not lit: the notebook is switched off or in Save-to-Disk mode. Drive indicator Indicator lights up green: the hard disk drive or the CD/DVD in the optical drive of the notebook is being accessed.

Some ports will not function if this is not done. We recommend that the notebook is not operated with the LCD screen closed when the notebook is connected to the Port Replicator.
