Product Overview
In September Canon launches the new CanoScan 5600F, which is a replacement product for the CanoScan
LiDE 600F. The CanoScan 5600F is technically different from the LiDE600F as it features a CCD, which
therefore now simplifies the product line-up between low-end LiDE scanners and mid to high-end CCD
scanners.
Film scanning users will greatly benefit from 6 frame support for 35 mm strip (negative/positive) and 4
frames support for 35mm slide (negative / positive)
Instant warm-up with the new high-brightness white LED (for reflective scans only*) means instant scans
without the wait. Fast A4 300 dpi scanning in combination with instant warm-up gives CanoScan 5600F
stunning performance with A4 colour 300dpi scans taking just 11 seconds.
CanoScan 5600F now includes the new Auto Scan Mode enabling novice users to simply achieve the
scanning results they desire
*High-brightness white LED is not applicable for film scanning

• High speed scanning A4 approx. 11 sec. (300dpi)
