Cleaning the stylus
Cleaning the decks A and B heads
From time to time, the stylus must be checked for dust particles
etc.
To ensure playback and recording with good-quality
sound, use cotton
Cleaning is best carried out with a small very soft brush.

about every 10 hours of use.

If the dirt persists, soak the swab in a little methylated
spirit or head
Aft~r a long period of use or when an inferior sound is obtained, the stylus
cleaning fluid and then clean.

gently. To mount the new one, re-assemble

Main unit
Use a soft cloth to remove dirt on the main unit.
If the dirt persists,
dip a soft cloth into a diluted
solution
of neutral
detergent, wring it out, wipe away the dirt, and then take up any moisture
with a dry cloth.
Do not use benzene, thinner or alcohol since they will mar the finish of the
surfaces.
