that accessor movement is not obstructed.

Fire suppression

Each Dx5, Lx5, S25 frame in the TS4500 tape library has areas on the top where
you can cut opening to install pipes, conduits, or other fire suppression parts.

correct level of coverage and protection, consult your insurance underwriter, and
local fire marshal (or local building inspector).
IBM designs and manufactures equipment to internal and external standards that
require certain environments for reliable operation. Because IBM does not test any
equipment for compatibility with fire-suppression systems, IBM does not make
compatibility claims of any kind nor does IBM provide recommendations on
fire-suppression systems. The TS4500 tape library is constructed to allow
third-party installation of fire-suppression equipment. When you are deciding
whether to implement fire-suppression equipment, refer to local and national
standards and regulations.
In a TS4500 tape library with Integrated Cooling, the top of the L25 and D25
frames are covered by the TR1 and the air conditioner. However, you can apply
fire suppression piping through the top of the S25 frames. Figure 21 on page 85,
shows the knock outs you can use to route your fire suppression piping into the
frames.
See "Attachment of cables, wiring, and pipes between frames" on page 85 for how
to route the fire suppression routing inside the library.
