Close the tray by pushing it gently. When the computer is in Standby or Hibernate mode, you cannot insert or remove a disc. Be sure to seat the disc firmly under the drive hub hinges.

About the computer and software My computer does not start Check that the computer is plugged into a power source and that it is turned on.
  • Page 53 To initialize the BIOS, proceed as follows: Turn off the computer. Remove any peripheral devices connected to the computer. Turn on the computer and press <F2> when the Sony logo appears. The BIOS setup menu screen appears. Press the arrow keys to select the Exit menu.
