Hardware interrupt on rising edge
Specifies whether a hardware interrupt is generated for a rising edge on the channel.
A hardware interrupt is only generated for the channel when there is a fault-free signal (value
status/QI = 1). This means no diagnostics is pending for the channel. See also: Address space

The DI 8x24VDC M12-L 8xM12 I/O device can be configured differently; see following table.
Depending on the configuration, additional/different addresses are assigned in the process
image input.
Configuration options of the DI 8x24VDC M12-L 8xM12 I/O device
You can configure the I/O device Digital Inputs like this:
• With STEP 7 (TIA Portal)
• With GSD file in any configuration software
When you configure the I/O device by means of the GSD file, the configurations are available
under different short designations/device names in the device view of your configuration
software.
The following configurations are possible:
