Assembly and setting up
WARNING! RISK OF FIRE!

Never place the device underneath wall cupboards or next to curtains,
cupboard walls or other flammable objects .
►
Always place the appliance on a heat-resistant surface .
1) Take all the parts out of the box and remove the packaging material and any
protective wrapping or stickers .
2) Clean all of the components as described in the Chapter "Cleaning and care"
to remove any packaging residue . Ensure that all parts are completely dry .
3) Place the appliance on a clean and level heat-resistant surface . Do not place
the appliance directly next to a wall or a cupboard . Each person should have
unimpaired access to the pans 6 .
4) Place the stone griddle 5 on the side of the base unit where the indicator
lamps are located . The surrounding fat channel must be facing upwards, the
holding pins in the base must protrude into the recesses in the underside of the
stone griddle 5 so that it sits firmly on the base .
5) Place the griddle 1 onto the other side of the base . Here you can choose
between the smooth griddle or the grooved griddle surface . If you use the
grooved griddle, your food will have the typical grill pattern .
6) Push the pans 6 into the device .
Before first use
The appliance is assembled and set up as described above .
1) Set the temperature control 2 to 0 .
2) Insert the plug into a mains power socket . The power indicator lamp 4 lights
up red to show that the appliance is connected to the mains .
3) Turn the temperature control 2 to MAX . The heat-up indicator lamp 3 lights
up green to show that the appliance is heating up . As soon as the heat-up
indicator lamp 3 goes off, the appliance has heated up .
4) After 20 minutes, turn the temperature control 2 to 0 .
5) Then pull out the plug and allow the appliance to cool down .
