summary; you cannot change settings directly in the system summary.
This choice is on the full and limited Configuration/Setup Utility menus.
Select this choice to display information about your blade server. When you

Utility program, some of those changes are reflected in the system information;
you cannot change settings directly in the system information.
This choice is on the full Configuration/Setup Utility main menu.
– Product Data
Select this choice to view the machine type and model of your blade server,
the serial number, and the revision level or issue date of the BIOS and
diagnostics code stored in electrically erasable programmable ROM
(EEPROM).
Select this choice to view or change assignments for devices and input/output
(I/O) ports.
You can also enable or disable the integrated IDE and Ethernet controllers and
all standard ports (such as serial and parallel). Enable is the default setting for
all controllers. If you disable a device, it cannot be configured, and the operating
system will not be able to detect it (this is equivalent to disconnecting the
device.)
Select this choice to set the system date and time, in 24-hour format
(hour:minute:second). This choice is on the full Configuration/Setup Utility main
menu only.
You can set a time to be added to or subtracted from the system time that is sent
to the service processor each time the blade server is started. Use the number
keys to type the hours and minutes and + or − to add to or subtract from the
system time. If you want the system clock time to be the same as the service
processor clock time, leave the value set at its default of 0.
Select this choice to set a power-on password. See "Using passwords" on page
46 for more information about the password.
Select this choice to view or change the start options. This choice appears only
on the full Configuration/Setup Utility main menu. Changes in the start options
take effect when you start your blade server.
Note: To set the startup sequence, which is the order in which the blade server
checks devices to find a boot record, you must use the
management-module Web interface.
