    Power-on LED When this LED is lit, it indicates that the server is turned on. When this LED is off, it indicates that ac power is not present, or the power supply or the LED itself has failed. Note: If this LED is off, it does not mean that there is no electrical power in the server.

    Power and signal cables for internal drives The server uses cables to connect parallel IDE, Serial ATA, and SCSI devices (such as tape devices) to the power supply and to the system board. Review the following information before connecting power and signal cables to internal drives: v The drives that are preinstalled in the server come with power and signal cables attached.

    Using the ServerGuide Setup and Installation CD The ServerGuide Setup and Installation CD contains a setup and installation program that is designed for the IBM server. The ServerGuide program detects the server model and hardware options that are installed and uses that information during setup to configure the hardware.
