Thermal grease The thermal grease must be replaced whenever the heat sink has been removed from the top of the microprocessor and is going to be reused or when debris is found in the grease. Installing a RAID adapter battery remotely in the server When you install multiple RAID adapters in the server that come with batteries, the RAID batteries must be installed remotely to prevent the batteries from overheating. The batteries must be installed in the RAID battery trays on top of the memory tray or the DIMM air baffle (whichever one is installed in the server).
