USING THE WOK ( MODELS GP24WK AND PCS484WK) Check to be certain that the wok is fully assembled with the burner and support ring properly positioned. Make sure the plastic ties used for shipping have been removed. Season the wok (See page 8). Place wok pan into support ring before turning on the wok unit.

A VENTILATING HOOD OF ADEQUATE CFM CAPACITY VENTED TO THE OUTSIDE OF THE HOUSE IS RECOMMENDED FOR INSTALLATION ABOVE THIS WOK. FOR MOST KITCHENS WITH A WALL MOUNTED HOOD. A CERTIFIED HOOD RATING OF NOT LESS THAN 940 CFM IS RECOMMENDED.

STAR™ BURNER GRATES SEALED BURNERS – Cap – Flame Spreader – Base When the burner and burner grate are cool, remove the grate. Grasp the burner cap and flame spreader and remove them. Refer to draw- ing, above. Clean the burner cap by carefully scraping off burned-on food.

The easiest way to clean the grill is shortly after cooking is com- pleted and after turning off the flame. Wear a barbecue mitt to protect your hand from the heat and steam. Use a mild abrasive cleaner and water on the grill grate in most instances.

Grill Drip Pan Hot sudsy water, rinse and dry thoroughly. For stubborn stains use Aluminum/Stainless Steel a soap fllled steel wool pad. Grill Ceramic Briquettes Heat. • It is not necessary to remove the briquettes for cleaning. They will burn themselves clean during the next cooking operation. Periodically, they need to be washed in hot water and scrubbed with a stiff brush.
