Memory functions
Manage your memory card and view
relevant details.
Memory card name
Define a name for the multimedia
card.
Format memory card
It is necessary to format your
multimedia card before first use.
Set password
Use a password to protect access to a
special multimedia card. After the
password is set, the multimedia card
is locked. Not supported by all
multimedia cards.
Remove password
Remove password protection from
multimedia card.
Unlock memory card
You must enter the correct password
to unlock the MultiMediaCard.
Memory state
Display details for the multimedia
card and internal phone memory,
e.g. the name, the total capacity,
free and used memory and whether
it is password protected.
General File manager options
New folder, File, Search, Mark/Unmark,
Send, Sort by/order, Memory functions,
Exit.
Extras
Insert MultiMediaCard (optional)
To enlarge the phones memory you
may use an optional
MultiMediaCard. To insert it into
the phone:
• Open the battery lid on the
backside of the phone (p. 14) to
unlock the MultiMediaCard lid.
• Push onto MultiMediaCard lid to
open it
• Put MultiMediaCard into the slot.
The contacts on the
MultiMediaCard must show down
and to the slot. Make sure the
angled corner is in the correct
position
• Close MultiMediaCard lid until it
engages.
Note
MultiMediaCard must be removed only
when the phone is switched off, because
otherwise the contents can be destroyed.
