Locking the input mode
To prevent the unauthorized change of parameter values and settings at the device locally,
the input mode can be locked and unlocked using the buttons ⑥ and the display ⑤.
The input mode is unlocked when the device is delivered.
Locking or unlocking the input mode
Proceed as follows to lock or unlock the input mode:
In the display mode, by pressing the
menu item "LOCK" (input mode locked) or "UNLK" (input mode unlocked) is displayed. Then
press the
requested to enter the four-digit code (PIN code).
By pressing the
first digit (this is identified by a flashing bar). Then press the
input prompt jumps to the second digit. Select the number for the second, third and fourth
digits in the same way.
If the input mode was "unlocked", after completely entering the PIN code, it will be locked
(display "LOCK"). If the input mode was "locked", after entering the correct four digit pin code,
it will be unlocked (display "UNLK"); if an incorrect or incomplete PIN code is entered, then
the input mode remains locked.
Note
If the input mode is locked, then the lock is only applicable for changes locally at the device
via the buttons and the display; changes via the IO-Linkinterface are not locked!

If no button is pressed in the input mode for 10 seconds, then the system automatically
switches back to the display mode. A changed value or the selected setting is not applied.
